Students of Niger Delta University have been strongly advised to develop the habit of adding clear descriptions when sending or receiving money through bank transfers. This was communicated by the CEO of Ndupulse Network, Prince Iniobong who emphasized on the new tax law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu set to begin in January 2026.

With increasing financial monitoring and regulatory compliance in the banking system, transactions without proper narration may attract unnecessary scrutiny, especially when they are frequent or involve large sums.

To stay on the safe side, always include simple descriptions such as:
Gift
Loan
Loan repayment
School fees
House rent
Feeding / Support
Refund

Adding a description helps to clearly state the purpose of the transaction and prevents avoidable questions or delays should clarifications be required in the future.
This is particularly important for individuals who receive funds regularly, as undocumented inflows may be misinterpreted.

📌 Good financial habits protect you.
📌 Clarity today prevents problems tomorrow.

We urge everyone to stay informed, stay compliant, and practice responsible banking.
